My Experience of the McKenna Presidents Academy

“The Shawn McKenna Presidents Academy will teach the young men charged with leading our chapters how to make tough decisions and how to think critically to achieve their goals.”

This past weekend was my first experience with my peers of other chapters across the Midwest.  Being President of an organization has been testing at times already in my term, and it was very encouraging to see that my fellow Presidents have many of same questions I had.  Most of the activities we had were very engaging and interactive.  I loved building relationships with each person I met in the room.

Overall, I came out of the weekend a few more theoretical scrapes and bruises, but I also came out with more skills and tools to add to become a more effective leader of men.  I’m thankful for the opportunity that SigEp Headquarters has provided all of us, and I can’t wait to see the what my fellow brothers took away from their weekends as well.
